beautiful farokh. absolute ripper. This is not a criticism but did you try f16+ when shooting this. It would be interesting to see if you get a bit more detail in the sand towards the horizon.
farokh: Thanks nev. I didn't change the profile of this photo. Wide lenses usually give us more depth of field. And I focused my lens in almost 5 meters. Moreover I am sure that you know our camera sensors are smaller that 35 mm cameras, so these aperture numbers don't have the same meaning in both types of cameras.
As a rule there is twice as much depth of field behind the subject on which you are focusing as in front of it. With wide lenses you can use the hyperfocal focusing technique which allows you extensive depth of field perhaps from 2m to infinity.
